Recycle hearing aids with Quota Club of Alliance

Quota Club of Alliance is a survivor. Active in the Carnation City since the 1920s, it has outlasted its parent organization, and its membership continues its work on behalf of women, children and the hearing-impaired.

That last focus is one that offers opportunities to Alliance-area residents who might have pairs of unused hearing aids in good working condition. Quota Club of Alliance can recycle the aids for use by others who have financial difficulties and struggle to obtain vital assistance. Hearing Aid Earbuds

Donation boxes are located throughout the Alliance and Sebring areas.

Hearing aid boxes are at the following sites – Alliance Area Senior Center; Aultman Alliance Community Hospital’s cafeteria; Copeland Oaks’ health clinic; and Rodman Public Library. Aids also are collected at Dr. David Kanagy’s office. Those wishing to donate there should ask for audiologist Kim Anthony.

Quota Club will recycle hearing aids, not amplifiers.

Quota Club of Alliance works with Starkey Cares to help patients find financing for their devices. Starkey Cares is a social responsibility division of Starkey, a hearing aid manufacturer out of Minnesota.

To see if you are eligible for help with hearing aids, contact Quota Club of Alliance at quotaalliance@gmail.com, and someone from the Hearing Speech Committee will contact you.
