Nutrient Technologies, a foliar nutrient company in Dinuba, CA, has announced the release of Acrecio, a biostimulant and root activator, to the North American market.
Acrecio is a root activator made up of four ingredients: humic acid, L-tryptophan, L-methionine, and the company’s own Acreciactiv. Humic acid protects the active ingredients and ensures their complete assimilation. Essential amino acids L-tryptophan and L-methionine are natural precursors to auxin and ethylene, which work synergistically to promote root cell division and elongation. Acreciactiv was isolated from plants’ own stress metabolites, and helps plants and roots thrive even in stressed conditions.
Acrecio uses technology proven in Europe by sister company Agronutrition, and has been one of their most sought-after products. After last year’s successful introduction by Nutrient Technologies in the Western U.S., Nutrient Technologies is making Acrecio available to all of their dealers and customers this year.
“The powerful combination of biological ingredients mixed with the right amino acids in Acrecio helps stimulate root growth. Growers may be looking for transplant dips or a better way to increase root mass, and Acrecio has proven to be an effective and easy way for growers to reach their goals,” says Jeff Waters, Director of Sales and Marketing. “The trials we conducted last year, combined with the years of data from Europe and beyond makes me excited to offer this solution to growers in North America.”
