Norton Vortex Rapid Prep flap discs from Saint-Gobain combine cutting power with fine finishing

Saint-Gobain Abrasives has introduced Norton Vortex Rapid Prep nonwoven flap discs, which the company says deliver increased cutting rates and smear-free finishes simultaneously.

Patented Vortex agglomerated aluminum oxide grain technology delivers coarse-grit cutting power while producing a finer finish. Suitable for light blending, stripping, edge breaking, and surface prep applications, the discs feature 3D nonwoven abrasive layers. This design helps ensure uniform finishing with a consistently low surface finish value. Diamond Hand Pad 60 Grit
