Tanya, a specialized trainer in trigger point therapy techniques, will alternate you through relaxing 4-10 minute yoga/restorative postures with guided meditation and then venture to the other physical extreme providing deep tissue release using massage balls.
Our goal is to reduce sore muscles, tension, and tightness, and also increase blood circulation and help relieve pain and stiffness. You will move and feel better instantly. You might have heard of Myofascial release, and that’s the painful part of the workshop as we find these triggers in your body and release them in a powerful routine of strategic techniques.
Polyest Lanyard This 90 minute workshop will use 1 massage ball (supplied by Y6 or bring your own), 1 yoga strap, 1 bolster, and 2 blocks to help you move through pleasure and pain. Please bring a yoga mat and wear comfortable clothing. Room is warmly heated 80-85 degrees. Areas emphasized: lower body, upper and low back pain and tightness, neck/shoulders, and a soothing savasana. Best done on a day of rest, like Sunday!!
