The US International Trade Commission has voted to investigate certain active matrix organic light-emitting diode display panels and modules for mobile devices, according to a Friday press release.
Samsung Display Co. filed a complaint alleging violations of Section 337 of the Tariff Act of 1930 in the importation and sale of certain display panels and modules that infringe patents asserted by the company, ITC said. Samsung Display requests that the ITC issue a general exclusion order and cease and desist orders, the commission said.
