Hyderabad: A construction worker died and five others suffered critical injuries when a portion of a slab they were installing fell on them in Fabcity of Tukkuguda on Sunday. Mc4 Solar Connector Spanner
K. Madhusudan, sub-inspector of the Pahadi Shareef police station, said the incident took place at 12.30 pm, when workers were installing centring rods to support the slab, when it collapsed on them. The workers were constructing the administrative block of the Premier Solar Energy Company, he said.
On being informed by locals, the police and villagers arranged for JCB machines to rescue the trapped labourers.
One of the workers, K. Ramanjaiah (37), was declared brought dead at the hospital, while the others were identified as J. Bharati, V. Anitha, K. Laxman, M. Ganesh and G. Lakshmi. All the victims were construction workers and resided in Sardarnagar of Pahadi Shareef.
Solar Farm Cable Clamp And Bracket The police registered a case of death by negligence under Section 304 (a) of the IPC against Premier Solar Energy Company management and shifted the victim's body to the Osmania General Hospital mortuary for a post-mortem examination.
