DAYTON, Ohio (WKEF) -- Pilots are gearing up for a big weekend of tiny racing at the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force.

The fourth year of Micro Drone Racing is scheduled to start Friday morning, where 64 pilots will be competing along what organizers call a unique course in the museum, while flying around and through a Douglas C-124 Globemaster. Wifi Camera Drone

Kele Stanley is the race organizer.

\"We're really excited that the museum invites us back every year and we get the opportunity to bring these pilots in to such a unique environment and space and they get to fly around in a place where not very many people get the opportunity to do so,\" Stanley said.

Stanley said they sold out tickets in 20 minutes, which is a little slower than last year.

\"This year for the course design, every year we kind of try to incorporate the C-124 a little bit more. Last year we took the emergency doors off, which really opened up another entrance and exit, and this we actually decided we're going to be going in and out of it three different times in a pretzel style of track. It's a really unique design. We're going to be going in it and out of it and over it and back in it, so we've really incorporated the C-124 in this year, and also with the F-82 in the back we definitely have a section for it.\"

Qualifying will be Friday and Saturday. On Sunday, the top 32 of the 64 pilots will compete for a double elimination style race, with pro and sport sections.
